Mob rule is the hijacking of our democracy. Democracy is a system of government for the people and by the people. Every person is supposed to count as a vote. But when the people are not informed about what policies are being voted for or who the persons are that are being voted in, is it really democracy? Every counted vote should be an informed vote.
A grand pa with serious dementia cannot be an informed vote.
A bedridden or bed fast person cannot be an informed vote.
People are to study about the policies and people being voted for and then cast their votes.
When this is done then we can truly say we are practicing democracy.
